- Don't forget to call the Locate Call Center of Alaska at 278-3121
(outside Anchorage, 800-478-3121) before digging and planting. They
can coordinate the locations for buried utility facilities. You may
also contact the Locate Center through their web site at
www.akonecall.com.
- Summary billing is available to consumers with two or more accounts
who prefer to receive a single bill and make one payment each month. For
more information call 563-7366.
- As you may recall chugach.net will no longer be providing dial-up
Internet service. GCI was selected as the service provider to manage the
chugach.net accounts. For more information you may call GCI at 868-0316,
or outside Anchorage 800-800-4800. In addition, you may also log on to
GCI's web site at www.GCI.net.
- Chugach has received thousands of phone calls, e-mails and letters in
response to the special supplement it ran in the Anchorage Daily News
throughout June. The publication listed the names of more than 30,000
members of record from 1984 that had not yet cashed capital credits checks
from recent retirements. If you're one of those who contacted us, please be
patient. It will take weeks to research claims and mail out checks.
- Your member number is worth $50 if you spot it in the
Outlet. Each month member numbers are inserted into the copy.
These numbers are in brackets like this { } along
with the first two letters of the member's name. If you find a
number like this that matches the member number printed on your
bill, call our service center at 563-7366 to claim your prize.
