Chugach Electric Board appoints Kreig as director

At last night's meeting, the Chugach Electric Association Board of Directors appointed Ray Kreig to the seat on the board vacated by Chris Birch who was elected to the Anchorage Assembly in April.

Kreig is a professional civil engineer, geologist and land consultant who is president of R.A. Kreig & Associates. He served on the Chugach board from 1994 to 2000 and was President in 1995 and 1996.

Chugach is the largest electric utility in Alaska, providing power for customers throughout the Railbelt through retail, wholesale and economy energy sales.
