Chugach sets transformers at Postmark Substation

Chugach set two transformers May 1 and 2 at a new distribution substation located on airport property off Point Woronzof Road, west of Postmark Drive. The $5.5 million substation will primarily serve the airport and provide for the growing demand for power at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.

Chugach is the largest electric utility in Alaska, providing power for Alaskans throughout the Railbelt through retail, wholesale and economy energy sales.
