Annual Meeting and election notes

The 2018 Chugach Annual Meeting and Election is scheduled for May 22, 2018 at the Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center. Plans are already underway for the meeting. Entertainment was provided at last year's meeting and we are pleased to announce that Hobo Jim will be returning this year as well as the education and informational booths on such topics as job training, emergency preparedness, and energy efficiency.

Two board seats open

Two directors will be elected to the Chugach Board in the upcoming 2018 election. {1212658}

Members who are interested in being considered by the Nominating Committee, or running by petition, should call 907-762-4791 to obain a candidate packet. Candidate applications and resumes for the Nominating Committee's review must be received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018. Petition applications must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, Mar. 9, 2018.
