The Board of Directors

As a cooperative, Chugach is guided by a board of directors elected by and from its membership. The seven-member board sets policy and provides direction to Chugach's general manager. Directors are elected to staggered three-year terms in conjunction with the annual meeting each spring.

(907) 317-1731 		Janet Reiser is the managing partner of Salus Management Services and managing member of Jet Enviro De-Icing, LLC. She was elected to the board in 2008, and re-elected in 2011. She is currently the Chair of the Board and serves on the Operations, Audit and Finance Committee. She is a National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Credentialed Cooperative Director and has earned her Board Leadership Certificate. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering.

(907) 229-1357 		Susan Reeves is the managing member of Reeves Amodio LLC, where she practices law. She has been active on Alaska non-profit boards and commissions for many years. Susan was elected to the board in 2010. She is serving as the Vice Chair and is a member of the Audit and Finance Committee. She is also Chugach's APA Representative.

(832) 692-3645 		Doug Robbins is a retired petroleum geologist and manager with 26 years' experience at Marathon Oil Company. He served as geologic manager and reserves reporting coordinator for Marathon's Alaska Business Unit in 1993-94 and 2000-02, respectively. Robbins holds a master's degree in geology. Robbins was unanimously appointed by the board to fill a vacant director's position on Dec. 16, 2010, and elected to a 1-year term in the 2011 election. He serves as the Board Secretary, the Chair of the Audit Committee and Vice Chair of the Operations Committee. He is also Chugach's ARCTEC's Representative.

(907) 346-2233 		P.J. Hill is a retired professor from the School of Business and Public Policy at the University of Alaska Anchorage. He is also an economic consultant and a commercial fisherman. He was elected to the board in 2007 and re-elected in 2010. Hill is the Board Treasurer and Chairs the Finance Committee and serves on the Audit Committee. He is a National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Credentialed Cooperative Director.

Nordlund is a former legislator and state Director of Public Assistance. Jim currently serves on the Operations and Finance Committees. He is a National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Credentialed Cooperative Director.

 Jim Henderson is a principal with with New American Financial Group in the financial services industry. Jim specializes in asset-based finance products, reorganization and refinancing of distressed companies, and accounting and disposition of capital assets. His primary emphasis is transportation, industrial machinery and aviation operations, assets and industry development. He has over 29 years of experience in consulting and analysis of depreciable personal property. Mr. Henderson has served on various committees for Chugach for the past 6 years. Mr. Henderson was elected to the board in 2011. Jim serves on the Operations and Finance Committee.
