Plans underway for 2026 Annual Meeting & Election

As we start planning for the 2026 Annual Meeting & Election, Chugach is looking for members interested in serving on the board of directors. The annual meeting is scheduled for Friday, May 29, 2026, at ChangePoint Alaska. The annual meeting will be held the same day as Chugach's Member Appreciation Event. More information on both events will be available in upcoming Outlets and in other Chugach communication.

Nominations open for two board seats

Voting in the annual election will begin in late April. Two candidates will be elected to 4-year terms on the Chugach Board of Directors. For members who are interested in being considered by the Nominating Committee, the application and other forms are available below. If you’d like forms emailed or mailed to you, please call (907) 762-4489.

Candidate applications and resumes for the Nominating Committee's review must be received by 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2026. 
Board candidates must complete the application, attestment of candidate qualifications, and the candidate information form.

Members may also submit proposed Bylaw changes for consideration by the Bylaws Committee until 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026.
The bylaw amendment form is available below and contains examples. The Chugach Bylaws are linked at the bottom of this page for reference.
