
Katherine Jernstrom is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in Alaska’s economic development and startup sectors. She is the founder of The Boardroom, Anchorage’s first coworking space, which she successfully grew into a vibrant professional community serving more than 450 members. Katherine has invested in and advised entrepreneurs and lower middle-market companies across a range of sectors including clean energy, logistics, advanced manufacturing, finance, and rural infrastructure. She has served on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards, including Launch Alaska, Spawn Ideas, and the Anchorage Community Development Authority. Katherine also served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the University of Alaska, where she mentored more than 100 early-stage founders. She holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Her current term on the Chugach Electric Association Board of Directors expires in May 2029.
