Chugach teamed up with Carlos Tree Service and 3rd graders at Bayshore Elementary School to plant a Sienna Glenn Maple as part of our Tree Line USA certification. During the planting we discussed how trees help with energy conservation, and students took turns shoveling dirt around the new tree.

As a Tree Line USA utility since 1999, Chugach plants a tree at a different elementary school each year to grow community connections and environmental awareness.
