  • Glenfarne, Chugach sign letter of intent for natural gas from Alaska LNG pipeline

    ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Monday, June 15, 2026) – Today Glenfarne Group, LLC subsidiary Glenfarne Alaska LNG, LLC announced that the company has signed a Letter of Intent with Chugach Electric Association for the supply of natural gas from the Alaska LNG pipeline.

  • Chugach Electric members elect two directors

    The membership of Chugach Electric Association, Inc. elected two directors in the 2026 annual election. After four weeks of voting, Penny Gage was elected and Rachel Morse was re-elected to the utility’s seven-member board of directors. Election results were announced Friday, May 29, at the electric cooperative’s annual meeting held in Anchorage at ChangePoint Alaska.

    Four candidates ran for the two open seats on the Chugach Board of Directors. Gage and Morse will both serve four-year terms.
