  • Spelling Bee showcases top students

    Chugach was pleased to be a sponsor of the 2026 Alaska State Spelling Bee. The annual event brings together the top spellers in 4th to 8th grade from across Alaska. This year, 75 spellers went through 23 rounds of spelling.

    The winning word was thrasonical. The winner, an 8th grader from Kenai Middle School, will represent Alaska at the Scripps National Spelling Bee. 

  • Chugach Electric Town Hall on March 24

    This is a unique opportunity to get first-hand information from Chugach leaders. Come hear an update from leadership on programs and priorities of the cooperative including gas supply, renewable projects, recent accomplishments, and more. Members will have a chance to ask questions about issues that concern them. 

    This event is on March 24 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Birch Room at the BP Energy Center.
