Mark Wiggin is the General Manager for Kuukpik Oilfield Services Corporation, a subsidiary of the Kuukpik Corporation, which is the Alaska Native Village Corporation for Nuiqsut, AK. Previously, Mark’s industry career spanned decades of valuable experience in the oil and gas industry, including work with many of the major oil operators such as ARCO Alaska, BP, ENI, ExxonMobil, and ConocoPhillips. Following up on his industry career, Mark served as Deputy Commissioner for the Alaska Department of Natural Resources during the Walker Administration.

Along with his industry positions and State employment, Mark has served on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations. Relevant to his current role on the Chugach Electric Board and more generally the power industry, Mark served on the Municipal Light & Power (ML&P) Advisory Commission and subsequently chaired the ML&P Board of Directors. Mark was first elected to the Board of Chugach Electric Association in May 2020 and re-elected in May 2024. Mark currently serves as Chair of the Chugach Electric Board, having previously served as the Board Vice-Chair and the Chair of the Operations Committee. His term expires in May 2028.
