Four Chugach Electric Association members are running for two seats on the cooperative's board of directors in this year's election. Each seat is for a 3-year term. The candidates are Uwe Kalenka, Elizabeth "Pat" Kennedy, Jim Nordlund and Steve Pratt. Nordlund is an incumbent. There are also three bylaw proposals for members to vote on this year.

Ballot packets were mailed to the 66,034 members of record March 30.

Members have until noon, April 27, to return mail ballots to the election post office box. Members may vote in-person at the meeting if they have not returned a valid mail ballot.
