Chugach Electric board chairman elected to trustee board
Chugach Electric Association board chairman Jeff Lipscomb was recently elected to a 3-year term on the Northwest Public Power Association board of trustees at its annual meeting in May.
NWPPA is an organization with more than 300 members and associate members, including utility districts, electric cooperatives, municipalities and groups who have a connection to the utility industry. The organization provides training and education, public information, communication, federal legislative coordination, surveys, data and networking opportunities and products and services for the utility industry.
Lipscomb is the owner of JWL Engineering and has served on the Chugach board since 2000.
Chugach is the largest electric utility in Alaska, providing power for customers throughout the Railbelt through retail, wholesale and economy energy sales.
