Chugach credit rating stable
Chugach Electric Association's "A-Stable" credit rating was recently reaffirmed by Standard and Poor's Rating Service. Chugach's business risk profile was revised to a "6" from a "5" on Standard & Poor's 10-point scale, with "1" respresenting the lowest risk.

Standard & Poor's is one of three national rating agencies that have regularly issued credit ratings on Chugach bonds since the company entered the bond market in 1991. The other two rating agencies are Fitch Ratings, and Moody's Investor Service.
Chugach is the largest electric utility in Alaska, providing power for Alaskans throughout the Railbelt through retail, wholesale and economy energy sales.
