Chugach donates 450 turkeys to charity
Chugach Electric Association is donating more than 6,000 pounds of turkey to 15 different local charitable organizations. In previous years, Chugach has made similar donations in support of local charities.
Chugach will deliver the 450 turkeys to local charities Dec. 13 and 14.
The donation helps fill a need in the community for turkeys for holiday meals and food baskets that will be distributed throughout the local area. Chugach purchased the turkeys from Carrs/Safeway.
