After more than four years of study, analysis, and stakeholder engagement, the owners of the Eklutna Hydroelectric Project have released a draft program to protect, mitigate damages to, and enhance fish and wildlife resources impacted by the hydro project, located about 30 miles northeast of downtown Anchorage.

The Member Advisory Council is a great way to find out more about Chugach and provide valuable feedback to the board of directors. The Bylaws, Election, and Nominating committees are essential to a successful annual meeting and election process.

Chugach was pleased to sponsor the ARC of Anchorage’s Trunk or Treat event on Sept. 16. The Arc of Anchorage has a variety of services for Alaskans who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral and mental health challenges. The annual fundraiser brings out hundreds of Anchorage families to “trunk or treat” in a safe environment, raising money for a good cause.
